Clear Terms Before Your Boat Day
This page sums up the boat rental agreement terms at Paradise Boat Rentals: how reservations, rebooking and cancellations work, plus fuel and weather. Reservations and Rebooking
Your reservation holds your boat for your dates. Plans change, so if you need to move your rental day, call us as early as you can and we'll work to find you new dates. Ask us about the current boat rental cancellation policy before you book.
Reservation policy: a 50% reservation deposit is due with any reservation made 91 or more days before the rental date, with the balance due 90 days before the rental begins. A 100% reservation deposit is due with reservations made 90 or fewer days before the rental date; in that case there is no cash refund if cancelled, and your rental days are credited for up to 2 years. Cancellation: cancel 91 days before arrival by 6pm EST to avoid charges equal to your rental rate plus tax. Rebooking: you may rebook or change your reservation before 9am EST on your rental day with no rebooking fee; there is a $100 non-refundable fee for any cancellation. A voucher valid for up to 2 years may be granted if you can't reschedule.
Fuel
Every boat leaves our marina with a full tank. If you return the boat to us, we top it off when you get back. If we pick the boat up from your vacation rental, we top it off at our marina and charge the card on file.
Weather
Safety comes first. If the forecast calls for high winds and rough seas, talk to us about your options. On multi-day rentals, we recommend keeping the boat at our marina when strong winds are on the way.
Pets
Our boats are pet-friendly. The pet fee is $35 per day, per pet, and each pet must weigh less than 50 lbs.
Your Rental Day
Pickup starts at 9am, and boats are due back by 5pm on the rental day. Before you go, you'll sign the paperwork, watch a short safety video and get an orientation from a licensed captain.
